On January 12, the Quality Brands Protection Committee of the China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment (QBPC) Toys & Licensed Goods IWG held the first-quarter lunch meeting of IWG in Shanghai, which six representatives from four member companies attended either offline or online.
During this meeting, the participants discussed the workplan for the first half of 2024. Aiming at the key areas of concern, the IWG initially drew up the plan to call on relevant law enforcement agencies. In addition, they also proposed to organize (or co-organize with other IWGs) brand trainings for front-line law enforcement officers in target provinces and cities so as to draw more attention and increase the influence of the trainings, as well as assisting law enforcement departments to clean up illegal activities in the industry in accordance with the law and severely crack down on activities of counterfeiting and selling counterfeits.
Finally, the participants encouraged IWG members to actively participate in various activities and promptly carry out the IWG work plan in line with QBPC events in coming months.
