On March 18, 17 representatives from the Food, Beverage & Alcohol Industry members of Quality Brand Protection Committee (QBPC) of the China Association of Enterprises with Foreign Investment held lunch meeting in Shanghai, which was chaired by Coordinator Emma Yang. During this meeting, the representatives discussed the work plan for 2025 and reached a preliminary consensus on key initiatives.

The meeting tentatively outlined the action plans, including regularly organizing IP Salon for case study, calling on local administrations for market regulation and public security bureaus, and strengthen exchanges and collaboration with major food-producing provinces such as Shandong, Fujian and Guangdong, as well as emerging markets like Hunan and Jiangxi. Additionally, they also expressed a desire to visit key customs offices to enhance cooperation while promoting partnerships with major e-commerce platforms to develop a swift response system for online counterfeiting and rights protection.
