On January 9, QBPC Best Practices/Enforcement Committee (BPEC) held an online information session on the Top Ten Cases Selection Guidelines. Wang Xuan, Vice Chair of the BPEC, elaborated on the nomination rules of the Top Ten Cases selection guidelines, selection process and frequently asked questions while answering questions raised by members. More than 20 QBPC members had in-depth interaction during the session.
Meanwhile, Wang Xuan also shared her thoughts and gave suggestions on how to evaluate nomination cases for member companies. She suggested that the priority be given to cases with the following characteristics, including cross-regional, cross-department, cross-platform, and cross-border law enforcement collaboration, the application of innovative methods for evidence collection, involving complex, emerging, and hot legal issues and those that result in groundbreaking rulings, substantial social impact, providing fresh perspectives on legal applications, as well as being recognized as annual typical cases by relevant authorities.
Since December 30th, the 2024-2025 QBPC Annual Top Ten Cases in IP Protection has opened for nomination. Please check the group email of December 30th for the Guidelines and Procedure of Selection as well as the Recommendation Form. The deadline is 12:00nn (Beijing Time) on February 28th, and the exceptional cases can be submitted before 1 March. We look forward to receiving your wonderful cases!
